About Me

My name is Amber, I am studying to become a marriage family counselor while being a small-town newspaper publisher and writing my own form of books. You can ask me anything and feel free to just read around and look through my coffee related photos. I am grateful for what I have done, where I am, and the path I am going down. It has taken time and will continue to take time but that is all part of this coffee story journey, isn't it?

Mission

I created Coffee & Story Time for a place to run to and share all the things that were on my mind. All the ideas I can create and see valuable for others. I love doing this, love reflecting on these blogs with a great cup of coffee. It all comes down to coffee because that is what I have been raised on and around, so what better way to share stories then through and with this. With this start came so many other possibilities for others to join along and share their own thoughts, reflect on their own stories. This is what I am truly looking to for others to just take time and sit back and enjoy, to listen, to wonder, to answer the open-ended questions and share. Share with me, with others, or just yourself.

Being Me

I created the name S. Hambs based on my small family where you can read about in one of my blogs, but I did this because I was not ready for others to know what I had created. Whether it was out of fear or I just wanted something to myself for awhile. Either way I have made announcements but still connect with the pseudonym S. Hambs, but I am being me, Amber Phelps, by being honest and sharing my stories, my experiences, with a great support system.
