Well today marks three years I have been married to my husband. At times it does not seem like it has been 3 years and then other times it seems like it has been much longer.
Our wedding took place on some land my father owns. It was very nice and quiet with being away from the highway just enough under several large trees by a cabin. It was a cool sunny afternoon. Our colors were orange and red with a “Fall In Love” theme. Our arch way was made from wood by my uncle who cut down trees from around his own home to make it. It turned out beautiful with a leaf and flowery ivy wrapped around it (we moved the arch to our home where it sat for two and half more years before rotting away and collapsing). Our wedding was small and quaint. I had two bridesmaids while my husband had two groomsmen. Many of the decorations and items were created and put together by me with help of a few family members here and there. My nerves were racking by the end, but by the time it came for the ceremony and reception, time flew by. My grandpa married us and afterwards many gathered under a white tent to eat sub sandwiches and wedding cake.
I remember the day quite well. Including all the mishaps such as the sub delivery guy upset with me due to no service and not answering my phone in a timely manner for him to find us. Yes the day was memorable, and I would not change a thing about it.
