It is a New Year!
How does everyone feel about that? Was the year 2020 a good one for you or were you ready for it to be in the past and hoping 2021 will be better?
I will say it surely has been an eventful year for our nation, our world as a whole, with COVID and an election. Bringing some together and tearing some apart, but coping and adapting with one another. May be 2021 will bring about more positivity and togetherness. We shall see.
So how are you spending your New Years?
May be you are watching fireworks like most do or you are sitting inside watching a show live from your television. Whatever the case I hope you look forward to this new year and do not regret a thing from this past year. If you are one for new year resolutions then set them and go for it, accomplish them before 2022 makes it way to us, because we all know it will be here before we know it. Time flies by sometimes and we do not even realize it.
I know me and my husband are inside counting down flipping back and forth the channels on our tv watching the New York ball and the New Orleans Saint Logo drop as 2021 makes it way here. We are putting a 500 piece puzzle together that my sister got us for Christmas to bring in a new year with a new picture that we work together to piece together and create as one. That is our new year "thing", to try something new at the beginning of each year. Something to keep us awake and test our brains. One year my husband taught me chess at midnight, a game for the mind and patience. Not entirely for me though. Then last year we put a puzzle together entirely made of wood. Took quite a bit of time, possibly a hour or two. As midnight arrived our eyes grew weary unable to match which wood grain to the next, but the end result was a beautiful traveling van under the stars in the mountains. And now this year another puzzle that includes several tiles and colors and time to put together. Can't wait to see how this one turns out.
However your spending your New Year's I hope you are enjoying it and I hope it brings in much greatness for your year 2021.
