All Things Camping 2.0

Around this same time last year, I created the blog All Things Camping. This year I am adding to it as I have done that yearly camping with my husband and his family.

Although we were unable to stay any nights, we did make it to the camp a few days.

Easter was celebrated one day with much family, a huge cook out was done that included tasty fish, potatoes, corn, sausage, and shrimp (which I do not like), some boat riding, and fishing happened.

I was able to go trot lining which is something I love doing and have not been able to do in so long. I love baiting the lines then watching as they are pulled above water awaiting the moment to see if you have caught anything. Me and my husband went out into the lake on the boat to try some bass fishing. It was so calming and peaceful to just sit there and feel the cool breeze blow over and watch fish hit the top of the water whether it was minnows or gars.

Alongside these outdoor activities came the family fun and hanging out with my now three young nieces by drawing pictures with sidewalk chalk and a new yearly favorite from my middle niece, making fairy soup/cake/pizza whatever she wants out of everything that surrounds us from tree bark to fallen leaves to pine needles and grass.

Wishing we can spend more time out on the water and in the woods, we know this time will make its way around once more soon.

Who else likes to go camping and all the things that come with it?
