Baked Goods

Did you know 3.14.21 was designated as Pi Day due to Pi = 3.14. I did not know this until the day was nearly over, but I looked it up and across the world as representation of the circular shape people were baking pies or cooking pizza in celebration.

Coincidently me and my husband were baking goods on this specific day, unfortunately not circular shaped ones to represent Pi, but close enough to baking a pie right?

We baked banana bread, pretzels, and sausage bread pretty much all from scratch too.

If you think about it bananas cut into slices become round pieces, pretzels loop into circles to form their loopy shape, and the sausage in sausage bread is clumped into small clumpy balls as it is being cooked so dissecting each ingredient of what was made we technically could have celebrated Pi day without realizing it.

Also we drank expressos out of rounded mouth tiny mugs so if that is not a good way of celebrating circular Pi Day unplanned then I do not know what is. 😉

Tell me did you know it was Pi Day and if so did you celebrate it?

If you did not what baked goods do you like creating and snacking on, circular shaped or not?
