Friends & Coffee, what better combination could you have?😉
Taking time to spend with friends and to catch up is wonderful especially when we get to do that over a nice cup of coffee. Usually if it is not at one of our homes we are checking out some local coffee shop or trying a new one nearby.
Not to long ago me and my husband were able to meet up one day with a friend and her husband to see a movie and spend time with one another. After the movie they took us to a downtown coffee place that had recently opened and had that vibe you look forward to in a coffee shop that become very welcoming and comforting. As we continued to catch up with one another in each of our lives the afternoon was over too quickly, so we made our way back to the vehicles but then I had remembered something I was wanting to show my friend.
I ran to the car to find what I was looking for which I did running back to her with quite a few in my hand. I have created my own Coffee & Story Time business cards that I am now including in hand bought books or giving to others as I can (or remember) and my friend was like, Amber why did you not leave any of these in there? I was puzzled and honestly I had not even thought about leaving any of my cards in a place as such for others to take as they want if allowed. Before I had a chance to really think about it my friend gave them to her husband who rushed inside leaving them on the counter for me.
Not only did this day trip bring in a good time catching up with friends but a new way to reach out to others to join in with Coffee & Story Time and all it has to offer and hoping for what is to come in the future. I will now have to remind myself to keep many cards on me and try to leave them at many places to reach whoever wherever, perfect places like bookstores or coffee shops.
