Five years ago I graduated college with my bachelor's degree and shortly afterwards recieved a job and made the choice to move away. Today I was able to go back and visit the town I once knew and called home. Within those few years so much had changed it was unbelievable. The university has grown adding several more buldings to its campus and added back a new sport with new tennis courts. Fences around the whole place becomming more enclosed. Places within the town I once visited to eat at or gather with friends have closed, but over running with new unfamiliar establishments. Suprisingly I could still find my way around. I am horrible when it comes to directions and it takes me quite a while to find something or remember a route I have to take often, but today being back, the roads just hit me. I knew which right or left to take, what building should have been where to turn by, the several ways I created to get to and from class to work or home not wanting to take the same route each time and mixing it up. The RV park I onced lived in expanding by so much, trees torn down to make more spots and buildings crowded among other buldings. It is crazy how so much can change and grow within such a time. It truly has not felt like five years, but the scene of it all surely shows five years.
If you revisited an old town you once lived in what would it look like now?
