Drowning out Noise…or the Silence

Just in preparation this blog will not be too long. It is mainly to expand on previous blogs regarding music and noise.

I mentioned before the music I listen to help me through distracting times. The sounds that help me stay focused on reading and assignments or help me fall asleep. Well I have now found a few new favorite stations.

The Jazz Hop Café’ (of course the logo has a coffee with it) but is a hit for me right now because the music is so chill and just a vibe itself.

Some of the mixed uploads are not my beat but most are calming and in tune. Not only this but just the hint of small movement such as the twinkling lights in the city skylight and the washing machine rounding at the washeteria in the other is very neat and simple enough to not just be a stillness of an unchanging picture.

I just find myself truly enjoying these pieces and let them take me where I need to whether studying, thinking, creativity aspiring, or just coping for a few moments.

I have the problem of letting my mind wonder. I know it should be focused on one thing or another but sometimes I need a little background noise to cover silence to keep it from working to much. With this, I can process sentences and thoughts clearly and work a bit more efficiently.

Now granted, these videos only play jazzy tunes or techno lines but that works best sometimes. If it is songs I sometimes catch myself singing along to them or moving around which once again I become distracted. With this being said though, IndieAir is another channel that plays calming meaningful tunes. These are songs and not just music but just the right beat to stay chilled too.

This channel makes those long tiring drives better and connect to moment in times you may be living.

Like I said, this blog would be short and to the point but I felt I needed to share these hidden gems and maybe you will enjoy them as well.

How about it? Do you have any stations like this you go to and want to share? I would love to listen to them!
