Do you recognize the title catch phrase? What about the picture below?

If you do not you are missing out!
Nah I am just messing with you, but in all seriousness Pokemon was a big part of my childhood and continues to be a big part of my life. Yes this my seem dorky in a way expecially considering I am no longer a kid, but that is fine and I do not mind if that is your thoughts, because it is one thing I do not plan to grow out of.
To start off, I honestly cannot tell you how I started liking Pokemon. It was not the age of Pokemon Go when most of the worlds population began being Pokemon addicts, but started when I was much younger. I remember watching the show on tv as I was growing up singing along with the opening song, "Gotta catch em all", knowing every word and then buying packets of trading cards from Walmart to battle others and see whose pokemon were the best and from there I guess I just grew attached to it. By the time I grew up and landed in high school almost graduating heading for college I had a binder full of plastic sleeves with multi slot pockets containing several pokemon trading cards. In turn instead of keeping them all I passed them down to my little brother which now he has graduated high school, but loves Pokemon just as much as I do.
Every Christmas we buy each other at least one gift that deals with Pokemon. Whether it is socks with different pokemon types, a pokemon coffee mug, or even a popcorn bowl that is a Pokeball itself that fills with delicious snacks. My best friend has even gotten into the routine of where she buys me one pokemon item for Christmas or birthday from a pokemon calender to pokemon journals. One Valentines day my gift from my husband was all pokemon items; a game, a pokeball that would hang from my wrist to walk with that had different pokemon to rest within it electronically that would train them and level them up for a game with each step I took, a pokemon remote control for a gaming system, and a Squirtle light up sphere.
Now Squirtle is a pokemon and my favorite of them all.
It was one of the starters for the First Gen (beginning generation of pokemon) when the show originally started and was created. There have been several Gens since then in which my brother is more up on, but I am stuck on first Gen because that is what I grew up with. Squirtle is a water type and reminds me of a turtle with its shell and turtle shaped head. When trained and worked with a lot it evolves and grows into almost a tank with cannons extended from its shell making it powerful in my opinion. But not to bore you I will not go into much detail then that.
However I did think my love of Pokemon deserved a blog of its own and here it is!

I am suprised it took me this long to create it! 😊😉😄
