Over the years I have taken Zumba classes here and there. In high school I took a few with my mom and sister, then in college I attended a few with friends, and now I have a video game I can dance along to matching the moves portrayed through the screen.
Although I have never been a great dance because I have been told I am a bit stiff, I greatly enjoy this activity.
I used to love exercising and working out but do get bored with the same repetition of sets and lack of noise except from music playing through some ear pods or from the clanking of weights hitting one another (knowing this is not supposed to always happen I think it can damage the weights) but with Zumba it keeps me moving, focused, and energized with the sounds.
I still have a tough time multitasking, meaning moving my arms at the same time as my feet in which it is during these times, I am glad nobody can see me trying to attempt this. My husband tries but I stop or pretend I am doing the right move. Used to in the past I made sure to get in the back of class so no one could see how I moved or copy my awful moves but then some routines making do things in opposite direction, so this became quite comical I am sure.
Anybody else every try any Zumba?
