Trip Around the U.S. Part 7

The Natural Beauty of Arkansas!

I have been to Arkansas for a few different trips throughout my life and so far none have been disappointing.

The first few times I was quite young and do not remember most of the trip, but as I got older I can remember three of the trips.

The first was when I was 18. Me, my mom, my stepdad, and my sister went and stayed with my aunt, uncle, and cousins in their camper in a RV Camp Park in Arkansas. That night we stayed a huge loud storm blew through tearing down a neighboring campers large outdoor movie screen.

A second trip was during my earlier college years. Me and my sister took a trip to stay with the same aunt, uncle, and two cousins. During this time we dug for diamonds, walked some nature trails and through some creeks, and just spent time with one another.

Another time I was a few years older and took a trip with my stepmom, brother, little sister, and the same aunt and cousins in which once more we went diamond digging at a few different areas and played putt putt golf that we just walked next door too from our hotel.

All in all these short day or weekend trips were a nice experience to see the mountains and views in Arkansas. Knowing there is much more to be seen may be one other day I get the chance to see more.

Anyone else been digging for diamonds, or gold in the mountains of Arkansas?
